About nikki hess

Nikki Hess, a Philadelphia native, graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in 2003, where she majored in English and minored in creative writing.  Since then, she has worked in the radio, beauty, healthcare, and newspaper industries, racking up a diverse set of skills, experience, and titles. In addition to writing her first thriller series and working on her entrepreneurial venture Seriously Side Hustle, Nikki is currently a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist for a leading health advocacy company in suburban Philadelphia.

In her free time (when she isn't busy writing), Nikki enjoys cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins, and Manchester City FC—in fact, she cites baseball and soccer as her biggest distractions.  On the flip side, many of her other interests—including her favorite band, Muse, and favorite television shows, Lost and Dexter—serve as inspiration to her writing.

Nikki is also an avid reader.  Her favorite authors include Thomas Harris, Gillian Flynn, Jeff Lindsay, Caroline Kepnes, Chelsea Cain, Peter Swanson, and Jeffery Deaver.
